Q: How do I save my details?
A: Our system does not save applications unless you have 'cookies' enabled on your computer. It is suggested that you turn this function on. ALSO prepare your responses in a word document and save it to your computer (just incase). You can then cut and paste your answers into the application form.
Q: How can I submit more than one piece of support material if they are saves as individual .pdf files?
A: Merge .pdf files using this free program.
Q: What if I need to change or add something to my application after it has been submitted?
A: EASY! If you need to change your application OR provide additional material make sure that you are using the same computer that you submitted your application on initially. If you have cookies installed when you call up the application page all of your details should immediately appear. Click on the field and add your data. This will override the original details provided. Please note you will need to upload ALL attachments again - resume, photo and supporting documents. You will not be sent another confirmation email.
Q: How do I know if my application has been submitted?
A: If your application has been submitted correctly, you will receive an email acknowledging its receipt. If you don't receive the email, please check your SPAM folder. If it is not there please contact the Foundation office clearly stating the Date and Name, both First and Last name of the applicant, and email address so we can confirm this.
Q: What browsers should I have to complete the application in?
A: We have found that the best browser to use when applying online is Google Chrome. This is available on PC and Mac. Please install Google Chrome and Try again.
Other browsers are capable of displaying the applications system. These include Firefox, Safari and more. Please note: we do not technically support these browsers.
Q: I have changed email address since last year. What should I do?
A: In order for us to judge each application on its merits, we ask that you please complete a new application in full, even if you applied in the previous year.
Q: I am having a problem uploading my files – what can I do?
A: If you are having issues uploading a file, please ensure that the file is no bigger than 2mb. The system will reject your file if it is larger than 2mb. HINT: Don’t have images inside your word docs. This makes the file size larger.
Q: Can I submit two applications (for me or a sibling in my family)
A: Yes. You do need to submit the second application using a 'new incognito window in Chrome (otherwise the second application will replace the original one submitted). Click here for instructions.
