Recently the Foundation flew in all the 2011 recipients and their companions from around Australia to Sydney for a couple of days of fun, inspiration and celebration.

Thursday was spent learning to surf with Layne and the team at Manly Surf School followed by a casual BBQ at Manly Surf Club. Friday was
jam packed with a mentoring session with Layne and the fabulous girls Kirsty and Davina at Seed Coaching followed by a Media Workshop with Sharon Payne.

After that the girls all were treated to a hair and make-up by Blush Hair and Make-Up and a personal photographic portfolio session coordinated by the amazing Carol Gibbons of Carol Gibbons Photography and then that evening the girls were picked up in a stretched hummer compliments of North Shore Limousines and driven to the Black and Bling Gala in true style!

The Gala Ball was a fabulous event. Natarsha Belling of Channel Ten was awonderful MC and dual world record holding extreme sportswoman Heather Swan captivated us with her incredible presentation. Layne celebrated each of the recipients individual successes with a trophy presentation, Edward Riley of McGrath Real Estate did a great job of raising money in the Live Auction and then most to the dance floor to Glam 80's Rock Band Groove Robbers!

It was a whirlwind for the girls who had the time of their lives! Thanks to all that continue to support the Foundation and in doing so help females around Australia to Aim for the Stars!
