Grant Recipients - Sasha Murray Minimize
Sasha Murray Name: Sasha Murray
DOB:

Pursuit: Performing on Broadway

Sasha loves to perform, she sings, dances, acts and plays the piano…and she wants to be on Broadway. With a disadvantaged background, Sasha has worked extremely hard to attend a tertiary program that would allow her to obtain accreditation in the Arts. Having completed a Certificate 4 in Musical Theatre in Australia, Sasha got herself to New York to audition for colleges that offered her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance. After a rigorous audition process and after sitting the USA entrance exams, Sasha has been accepted in to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. The grant will go a long way to assisting with her tuition and living away from home costs. Sasha feels like she is living the dream!

How the grant will help you/how will you use the money?
This grant has really really helped me right now I'm overwhelmed with costs.  My most expensive cost is semester tuition, but I will also use the grant to help me stay alive while living abroad in NYC for things such as food, transport, school textbooks, dance stockings, dance shoes, dance clothes etc.  These are all a must have for my classses and also sheet music.

Last words:  Quote or Motto you live by?
Fear is boring, no one ever succeeded because of fear.
