Meghans dream is to be a Female World Champion for motocross. After breaking both her arms in a race meeting at the start of last year Meghan went on to claim her third Australian junior motocross championship in October at Maffra. In 2009 Meghan placed first in the 13-U16 years 100cc-150cc 2stroke and 200cc-250cc 4stroke female class at the "Honda Australia Junior Motocross Championship", 1st 13-U16 125cc-250cc female New South Wales "Stadium Cross" and 13th in the "Super X" series with a best result of 6th at the Brisbane Round. Meghan enjoys competing against the boys for increased competition and will compete in both classes for her events throughout 2010.

When did you start?
In 1999 at the age of 4.

Career highlight or biggest achievement?
I have 2 career highlights. The first was winning a "NSW State Championship" in 2003 against the boys, being the first female to do so. The next and my biggest achievement was winning both classes Junior Lites and 85cc at the inaugural "Australian Championships" for females in 2008.

What is your dream?

My long term dream is to be the best female motocross racer in the world.This year is to win an Australian Championship and to improve my results for Super X.
 
Who's your hero?
Jake and Matt Moss. They have always encouraged me to follow my dreams.
 
Any other special talents?
I like cross country running. I have made it to State level for school.

She's the man.

Favourite Food?
Chicken Parmigiana with vegetables.

How the grant will help you/how will you use the money?
The grant will be a great help it will enable me to compete at more events - where there are both female and males classes I will be able to enter both.
