Jayme was born with Cerebellar Ataxia/Gross Motor Retardation from Birth Asphyxia. Jayme is a C1 Para-cyclist which is the most disabled cyclist on a single bike and is the only Female of this Class in the World. Most recently she has represented Australia at the 2008 Paralympic Games achieving Bronze and a World Record in the 500m TT, the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships achieving Silver in the 500m TT and NSW at the Australian Track Championships achieving Gold in both the 500m TT and the 3000m IP. Jayme is an APC Education Ambassador a Premiers Sporting Challenge Ambassador and a Northcott Disability Ambassador. Jaymes goal is to represent Australia at the 2012 Paralympics. Jayme lives by the motto "There is no such word as can't"

Bronze medal at the Beijing Paralympics in 2008

To be named Australian Female Paracyclist of the Year and London 2012 Paralympics

How the grant will help you/how will you use the money?
The money will go to a new road bike because I really want to make both the Track and Road Team.
