WHEN DID YOU START?
I started when I was 7 yrs old and have been skating now for 8years.

CAREER HIGHLIGHT AND BIGGEST ACHIEVMENT?
I have had so many amazing opportunities and by far one of the standouts was going to junior worlds in Quebec, Canada in February 2009. I had so much fun and did better than I expected, finishing 18th in the 500m.  I would also have to say one of my personal favourite achievements was at the 2008 Australian national championships where I placed fourth overall in the Senior Ladies division. I did some of my best racing in that competition and was very proud.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM?
Initially my dream was to compete at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic games and do the best I possibly could, however now my goals have changed. As it is coming close to trials for the Olympics and I am not certain I will make it I have set myself the new goal of training for the 2014 Olympic games in Russia. I am determined to do the best I possibly can and am striving to achieve an Olympic medal. I believe I can make it and achieve it.

WHO OR WHAT HAVE INSPIRED YOU?
-

WHO'S YOUR HERO?
When I was younger I never really had a hero, but after reading so many athletes' autobiographies I believe it is essential to have someone to look up to and show you anything is possible if you work hard enough. I have read many great athletes stories and I feel a great deal of respect towards every single one. The absolute inspiring athletes in my eyes are; Apolo Anton Ohno, Michael Phelps, and Layne Beachley. Each one of them overcame great odds and succeeded in becoming the greatest in their field and their stories have pushed me to be not only a better athlete, but also a better human being.

ANY MORE SPECIAL TALENTS?
Aside from skating I don't focus on many other sports however I do enjoy giving everything a go. I have recently started jazz and hip-hop dancing and love every minute of it.  I love it because it is different to what I usually do and can use it as an outlet.

FAVOURITE MUSIC?
I enjoy most types of music. Hip-hop beats to classical symphony style to electro, anything but screaming music.

FAVOURITE MOVIE?
I have lots of favourite movies. My favourite at the moment would have to be Fast and Furious (the new one)
