Lynda’s hero is David Attenborough and his passion for wildlife conservation and Lynda’s own love of the ocean lead to a desire to study Marine Biology. In 2000, Lynda completed a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree with Major in Marine Biology and was awarded a scholarship from the University of Queensland in 2005 to undertake her PhD. Lynda’s goal is to devote her life to coral reef organism research and to educate others to ensure that the reefs of today remain for the generations of tomorrow. Lynda’s motto for life is “Do what you love and believe in, and success will come naturally”.
