Lucy started her musical journey playing the violin, but her passion for Opera music lead her to take up singing lessons at 10 years of age and she hasn’t looked back. Since then Lucy was awarded a post graduate place at the Royal College of Music in London and then a scholarship to the famous Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Now aged 23, some of Lucy’s many career highlights include performances at the Westminster Abbey for the Anzac Day Service and for the Royal Family in St George’s Chapel, Windsor. The grant will help fund Lucy’s course at Guildhall and help with living costs whilst in London.
