Lauren is a passionate basketballer who dreams of achieving the same levels of success as Lauren Jackson. She has been named most valuable player every year since 2002 and was last year, aged just 14, chosen by selectors as a member of the under 17 Australian Development Squad for the World Championships in 2011. The grant will cover travel costs to enable Lauren to play in the Australian Championships in Perth in July. Lauren’s life motto is that “the future belongs to those that believe in the beauty of their dreams”.
