Jessica (and sister Sophie) live on a working sheep station in regional NSW where their parents both work on the property. The closest town is 52kms away making it impossible for the girls to obtain after school jobs or to socialise with their friends. Several years ago they took up motocross racing and have achieved amazing results against both women and men, Jessica winning a QLD state title and Sophie being named QLD Champion in 2005. They hope to go professional one day. The grant will be used for race entry fees and on maintaining their bikes. Being diehard bikers, their favourite movie is Motorcrossed!
