Gemma is an elite athlete who has been swimming since the age of 6 and playing water polo from age 8. Gemma, who turns 21 in July, is having an amazing year after being one of only four torch bearers selected from WA to run in the Australian leg of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Torch Relay in Canberra earlier this year, Gemma has now been confirmed a member of the Australian Women’s Water Polo Team for the Beijing Olympics.
