The grant will be used toward three Creating Leadership workshops for young women & their mentors to access their inner resourcefulness through building Archetypes of leadership & support in clay.

Every person carries within themself the traces of unmet needs and emotional blocks to accessing their inner resources and highest energies for building a better community and stronger relationships with others. Creating our own personal archetype of leadership surrounded by the unique gifts that each of us has to offer can improve well-being, enhance resourcefulness, increase resilience, offer a sense of direction and create a profound sense of meaning and purpose. Young adults often learn to protect and hide their most precious gifts very early in childhood and our capacity for good decision making, group participation and leadership is hidden even from themselves. Clay works to access this untapped potential for personal and community growth. Clay work can be used to evolve the images we hold of wonderful carers and leaders so that we can let go of our fear of becoming leaders and become whole and confident in our own inner resourcefulness and contribution to others.
