“Track and field is a particularly under funded sport within Australia, however with the support provided by the Layne Beachley Aim for the Stars Foundation, I will now be able to travel to national or international events – without financial burden. As a full time athlete and student it is difficult to manage finances, but with Layne’s support, I can now focus wholly on training and racing. Gaining support from the Layne Beachley Foundation is not only a huge honour, but a source of inspiration and encouragement to achieve your best.”

Rebecca’s philosophy is that “you only get out what you put in”  She also believes that “to achieve your best, one must have a true passion and love for their chosen sport. If you believe in your ability, you can achieve your best.”
