At twelve years of age Jesre has completed an AMEB Associate Diploma of Music on the Violin. At thirteen she is studying Grade 8 Piano, playing percussion in her school band and playing solo with the Queensland Youth Orchestra String Ensemble. After producing a classical CD, Jesre and her ensemble group were invited to visit music schools in Germany. The Kickstart grant has contributed to the cost for Jesre to fly to Germany for an educational and memorable experience.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM?
- To play the violin in an orchestra for Musicals and Movies
- To play the violin at the Sydney Opera House
WHO OR WHAT HAVE INSPIRED YOU?
My mum inspires me because she raised me up all on her own and helped me to succeed in what I've done.
WHO'S YOUR HERO?
My Grandpa is my hero. He was a pilot in WW2 and he's like my father. He's the one who enjoys me playing music the most and when I feel as though I can't take much more, I just think of him and I can.
ANY MORE SPECIAL TALENTS?
I play the piano and percussion.
FAVOURITE MUSIC?
My favourite genres of music are Rock, Jazz and Punk. My favourite group/singer are Green Day and Michael Buble.
FAVOURITE MOVIE?
My favourite genre of movie is action, adventure, mystery and practically all types of movies apart from some of the chick flicks. The movie I would consider my favourite though probably The Lord of the Rings.
FAVOURITE BOOK?
Same genres as movies. I have sooo many favourite books.
FAVOURITE TV SHOW?
CSI, NCIS, Spicks and Specks, The Glass House and Bronski and Bernstein.
FAVOURITE FOOD?
Chocolate and Asian food.
LAST WORDS?
Always believe in yourself and try as much as you can because you'll never know if you're good at something unless you try. My teacher always says that the secret to success is that 'you can have talent, but without practice, persistance and a love of what you do, talent won't get you anywhere'.
But most of all - HAVE FUN and have support from friends and family.
