| Applications for 2007 grants now closed | |
| All the applications are currently being put together and reviewed. The Board is scheduled to finalise the review in January and announce the recipients in February. Its not going to be an easy task - again the quality of the applicants is very good. | |

| The NAB Beachley Classic includes a special Celebrity event where some of Australia's most recognisable celebrities compete for $5,000 for their nominated charity. Layne's Aim for the Stars team finished in a dead heat against the NAB team lead by Andrew Thorburn. | |
| Safari of Sounds raises $65,000 | |
| The Safari of Sounds lunch has raised $65,000 all of which will be used to support our 2008 grants program. Thank you to everyone who supported the event and particularly those that bought Auction items. Layne´s rash vest worn when she claimed her 7th World Title sold for $20,000 which has made a huge difference to the funds raised at the lunch.
